Timeline

January — Inviting Changemakers

Throughout January, we’ll accept nominations and applications from people working across eight domains to make life better in the Fraser Lowland.

All accepted applicants are invited into the broader community space, focused on supporting emergent leaders engaged in regeneration, resilience, and relief work. You'll be introduced both to other participants and to mentors, judges and other members of the Metachrysalis community.

Thanks to a partnership with the Design School for Regenerating Earth, you'll also be invited into their Metachrysalis Community Space, with a chance to connect with Bioregional Regenerators from around the world.

February — Building Community & Playing Metachrysalis

By early February, eight judges (one for each Metacrisis domain) will help select 32 participants to engage more deeply.

This group will:

Using a sociocratic decision-making process, the group will then select 6–8 participants to each receive $2,500 to support a one-month project—an intentional “move” designed to strengthen our region.

March — Doing Projects & Sharing Stories

Throughout March, funded participants will receive support as they carry out their projects.

They’ll document:

At the end of the month, funded participants will share presentations reflecting on their work and its impact.

NOTE: Other participants also wanting to do a March-long project will also receive logistical and promotional support.

Beyond March — Growing the Community

After March, the community continues.

Connections, collaborations, and mutual support will keep growing—supporting both the people involved and the work they’re doing across the Fraser Lowland. We're hoping to build regional support for this work, including more funds to flow towards additional members of the community.
